About the project

Why Innaha Taybah إِنَّهَا طَيْبَة

Innaha Taybah إِنَّهَا طَيْبَة is conceived as a digital heritage guide to Madinah: spiritually grounded, historically careful and practical for the modern visitor.

Our mission

To help visitors and readers understand Madinah not as a collection of disconnected attractions, but as a living historical landscape shaped by the life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the earliest Muslim community and the centuries that followed.

Editorial methodology

Every historical claim is placed in a source category. We use four labels: Qur’an, Authentic Hadith, Established Seerah / Historical Source, and Later Historical Attribution. This keeps spiritual storytelling engaging without presenting uncertain local traditions as equally authoritative.

Source framework

We prioritize the Qur’an, authenticated hadith collections, recognized early Seerah and historical works, and official Saudi/Madinah heritage documentation. Our list of historic places follows the Innaha Taybah map of 50 historical and archaeological sites published by the Madinah Research and Studies Center (reported by Arab News, 5 November 2024). Each place page lists its sources, and hadith are cited by collection and number with a link to the full text. Contemporary visitor information such as opening hours and booking requirements changes often; confirm it with current official sources before you travel.

Independence

Innaha Taybah is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated on behalf of the Madinah Research and Studies Center, the publishers of the Innaha Taybah map, or any government body. We use their published work, together with the Qur’an, authenticated hadith collections and other historical sources, as references, and we cite them on each page.

Editorial team

Content is written and maintained by the Innaha Taybah editorial team. We correct errors promptly; each place page shows the date it was last updated.

Map philosophy

The Innaha Taybah إِنَّهَا طَيْبَة 3D map is an interpretive visual layer. It helps users understand relationships between landmarks and terrain. For exact routing, each landmark page links to current navigation services.

Brand

إِنَّهَا طَيْبَة — Innaha Taybah uses Deep Madinah Green, Heritage Green, Muted Gold, Sandstone and Ivory. The visual language combines arches, palm forms, map linework and restrained geometric ornament rather than a generic tourism aesthetic.
